Today, I want to introduce you to a new niche fragrance house that has truly moved me with its story.
A spiritual journey that begins at the very roots of the self, exploring our connection to the earth and our communion with nature and ancestors.
An invitation to a spiritual journey of self-discovery and uncovering hidden parts of who we are.
I can define the NEH concept as a harmonization of the senses with the depths of our self, our roots, family, pleasures, and our communion with nature. It is a harmony where each fragrance reveals a meditative and contemplative state, bringing to light pieces of ourselves that we had either forgotten or failed to see.
The mind-body-soul balance is what reflects most beautifully within this concept—the soul and spirit intimately connected to the six senses.
I also had the privilege of participating in the NEH Ceremony—a discovery of the founder’s own self, structured as an hour of meditation and contemplation alongside six scents designed to awaken the inner self. As an experience, the NEH ceremony exists on the boundary of the sacredness of our personal temple—our body—in tight alignment with the knowledge and revelation of both our spirituality and our sensuality and mystery, achieved through pleasure and sensory harmony.
It was an hour during which we gathered from all corners of the world—a group of women passionate about fragrances and mindfulness alike. The founder, Tara Derakshan Aether, introduced us to a magical, mystical universe of scents, meditation, and contemplation.
To meditate while inhaling a fragrance—this is art taken to another level: the level of the soul, the divine, and the harmonization of the senses with raw feeling, emotion, and healing.
An act of pure bliss, an indulgence, and a pleasure for the soul, body, and mind, but also a radiant joy celebrating the simple fact that we are women—spiritual, sensual, and magical beings.

The first time, I tested the fragrances without consulting the notes, connecting purely to what I felt and where they transported me—focusing on the emotions each scent evoked. That is how I fell in love with three of the six perfumes: The Element, The Flavor, and The Vibration.
A unique concept, a bridge between the senses and the self, and a radiant joy of connecting each scent to a state of soul. You can find them on their website, www.nehperfumes.com, and to try and savor them all in stillness, I highly recommend starting with the Discovery Set featuring all six fragrances.
